vOilah! France Singapore Festival to return on Apr. 23, 2025 with art exhibition, free movie & music shows
In celebration of 60 years of diplomatic relations between Singapore and France.
The vOilah! France Singapore Festival will return from Apr. 23 to Jun. 8, 2025, celebrating 60 years of diplomatic relations between Singapore and France.
The festival, highlighting the cultural influences between the two countries, will be showcasing 20 programmes across visual arts, performing arts, music, cinema, and literature.
This includes a major exhibition held at the National Gallery Singapore featuring over 400 artworks, archives, and images.

Members of the public may also enjoy Les Arts in Nature at Gardens by the Bay. The free, family-friendly event invites audiences to enjoy iconic classical music amid nature.
There will also be a special free beachfront screening of the animated kids’ movie Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir as part of Movies by the Beach at Sentosa.

60 years of diplomatic and cultural connections
Since gaining independence 60 years ago, Singapore and France have maintained strong diplomatic and cultural connections.
Ambassador of France to Singapore Stephen Marchisio, said that "France and Singapore have always shared a mutual appreciation for culture and innovation, and an understanding that we are better together."
These values are central to vOilah! France Singapore Festival, he added.
"As we celebrate this momentous milestone in our enduring relationship, we invite everyone to experience the festival's diverse activities, which embody the creativity, innovation, and deep-rooted connections between our two countries.”
