Car turns turtle at KPE tunnel near Tampines, 1 injured
A 28-year-old male driver was conveyed to Sengkang General Hospital.
A car flipped and landed upside down at the Kallang–Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) tunnel towards Tampines Expressway (TPE), near the Tampines Road exit, at around 3:25pm on Mar. 5.

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) confirmed with Mothership that they were alerted to an accident along KPE towards TPE near the Tampines Road exit.
Two cars were involved in the accident, said police.
Police investigations are ongoing.
Footage of the accident shared online
A photo posted on Facebook showed a black car flipped upside down in the KPE tunnel.
The footage was taken from the passenger seat of a car behind.

Another video posted on another Facebook page showed cars slowly driving around the scene of the accident as the damaged car's lights continued blinking.
A group of people can be seen near a lorry and a car that had stopped at the side of the tunnel.
At 3:44pm, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) posted on X advising those driving on KPE towards TPE to avoid lanes two and three, due to an accident before the Tampines Rd Exit.

Another flipped vehicle
In another accident two weeks ago, a 47-year-old female taxi passenger and a 65-year-old male taxi driver were sent to hospital after a taxi flipped and landed upside down on a road leading to Jewel Changi Airport.
The taxi was believed to have self-skidded, police said.
