According to SMRT's Facebook at 4:19pm, there are free regular bus services between Promenade and Serangoon.

There is also shuttle train service available between Bartley and Mountbatten.

This comes almost a month after the previous Circle Line disruption, which occurred for about 30 minutes during the morning rush hour due to a signalling system fault.

As of 5:01pm, train services have resumed between Promenade and Serangoon and free regular bus services would cease between Promenade and Serangoon.

SMRT shared that the train fault occurred around 3:55pm on Mar. 5 between Paya Lebar and MacPherson station.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate commuters' patience," said SMRT.
