2 taken to hospital after car swerves across 3 lanes, crashes into motorcycle near Woodlands Checkpoint
Police investigations are ongoing.
A car crashed into a motorcycle along the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) near the Woodlands Checkpoint on Mar. 2.
The motorcyclist and his pillion rider were taken to hospital, and a car driver is assisting with police investigations.
Abrupt lane change
In a video shared on the Facebook group Singapore roads accident.com, a white car seemed to change lanes abruptly before slamming into a Malaysian-registered motorcycle.
It swerved across three lanes in the process.

In a photo of the accident scene, a man in a red shirt could be seen lying on the road with a helmet next to him.
A second person could be seen lying a short distance away.

In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) stated it was alerted to an accident involving a car and a motorcycle along the BKE on Mar. 2 at around 11pm.
A 39-year-old male motorcyclist and a 36-year-old female pillion rider were conveyed conscious to the hospital.
According to the Singapore Civil Defence Force, both were conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
A 27-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations, said SPF.
