Two youths riding a personal mobility device (PMD) along a road in Hougang apparently rear-ended a car waiting at a junction before leaving the scene.
The scene was depicted in a video shared on the "SG Road Vigilante" Facebook page.
Rear-ended car while riding PMD on road
Based on the video's caption, the incident took place near the junction of Hougang Ave 6 and Hougang Ave 8 on Feb. 25.
The footage appeared to be recorded from a rear-view camera in a car waiting to turn right at the junction.
It showed two youths riding down the road on a PMD.
As they approached the car, they did not slow down sufficiently and ended up hitting the back of the car with a thump.

A beeping alert could be heard as the collision took place.
The youth sitting behind looked shocked, but said something to the youth steering the PMD and they quickly rode off.
A food delivery rider on a motorcycle was also seen recording the scene with his phone camera.
The car owner called the incident a "hit-and-run" and appealed for help to identify the PMD users.
Online users suggested in the comments that the car owner could report the matter to the police or the Land Transport Authority (LTA).
Illegal to ride PMDs on S'pore roads
By law, PMDs, including e-scooters and other motorised devices with more than one seat, are not allowed to be ridden on roads or pedestrian footpaths in Singapore.
PMDs are only allowed on cycling paths or shared paths in Singapore, with a maximum speed limit of 25 km/h.
In February, LTA seized four modified PMDs after youths were seen riding them on Punggol roads.
LTA said in a Feb. 15 Facebook post that in 2024, it detected 132 instances of PMDs being illegally used on roads.
In May 2024, plainclothes LTA officers fined at least three people for illegally riding PMDs in Ang Mo Kio.
Their PMDs were also confiscated.
