GE2025 S'pore voter rolls updated, open for public inspection from Feb. 15-28
Singapore's general election must be held by November 2025.
Singapore’s voter rolls for the general election, slated to take place in 2025, will be open for public inspection from Feb. 15 to 28, as they have been revised.
The names of all eligible voters as of Feb. 1 are contained in the Registers of Electors, the Elections Department (ELD) said on Feb. 14.
During the inspection period, a person may submit a claim to include his name, if it has been omitted, or update his particulars, if the information in the registers is reflected differently from his NRIC.
A person may also submit an objection to remove a name from the register for the Electoral Division that the person is in.
From Mar. 12 to 19, a list of claims will be made available for inspection.
Those whose names were removed from the registers for failing to vote in a past election may apply to have their names restored to the registers to be able to vote in future elections.
These individuals are encouraged to apply early.
ELD said it will not be able to restore their names during the period from the date the writ for an election is issued until after Nomination Day if the election is not contested, or until after Polling Day, if a poll is to be taken
How to check
Singaporeans may use the “My Profile” tab on the Singpass app to check their particulars in the registers.
They may also so do via the Elections Department website.
Those who cannot do so, can visit any community centre or ServiceSG Centre, as well as make an e-appointment via the ELD website or calling 1800 225 5353 before heading to the ELD office in Novena.
Overseas Singaporeans can check their particulars online or at Singapore overseas missions serving as overseas registration centres.
Claims and objections may likewise be submitted online at the ELD website or via the other methods similar to checking one's particulars in the registers.
