'I love you. I love you so much': Dennis Chew's father dies 1 day after son's graduation
Chew wrote a heartfelt tribute to his father on Instagram.

Father of Singapore television and radio personality Dennis Chew passed away on Feb. 12 morning.
Chew announced his father's passing on Instagram and gave a touching tribute to him.
This comes after Chew had completed his full-time studies at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
"Just yesterday afternoon, I told you that I had completed my studies, and this morning, you left," Chew wrote in his caption.
"I know you must feel proud of me. Thank you, Dad."
Chew posted the news of his academic achievement on Instagram on Feb. 11 and thanked those who supported him throughout his journey.
The 51-year-old began his studies in the Chinese Media and Communication diploma programme in 2022 while managing his radio career.
Heartfelt
In his tribute to his father, Chew shared how his father would think of others first and his compassion for stray animals that their home "nearly became a zoo".
He also thanked his father for bringing him into the world and their experiences together.
"Dad, thank you for giving me an optimistic personality and that one-of-a-kind sense of humour.
Thank you for teaching me how to live with sincerity – I've always kept that lesson close.
Thank you for taking me to Dahua Cinema to watch the first movie of my life.
