Woman, 31, allegedly performs sexual act near Boon Lay block, man, 35, allegedly acts as lookout

A 31-year-old Vietnamese woman allegedly exposed her bosom and performed a sexual act in public near Block 266 Boon Lay Drive at around 2pm on Sep. 27, 2024.

While she was purportedly committing these acts, a 35-year-old Singaporean man allegedly served as a lookout for her nearby, reported The Straits Times.

According to court documents seen by ST, the woman, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan, allegedly performed the obscene act on herself.

Court documents did not reveal the relationship between her and the man, Adrian Ching Kah Siang.

The ST report did not mention how the pair's alleged offences came to light.

Both charged

On Jan. 23, 2025, Lan was handed two charges by the court, one for exposing her chest and another for performing an obscene act in a public space, according to ST.

Concurrently, Ching was handed one charge for abetting her in her purported offences.

Both of them intended to plead guilty on Feb. 20, reported ST.

For every count of exposing her chest in public, Lan could have been fined up to S$2,000, jailed for up to three months, or both.

For every count of performing an obscene act in a public place, she could have been jailed for up to three months and fined.
