Jewel Changi Airport records 80 million visitors in 2024, most tourists from China, Taiwan & M'sia
About 30 new brands will open in the mall in 2025.
Jewel Changi Airport saw footfall traffic of over 80 million from January to December 2024, marking a 10 per cent increase from the previous year.
Some 35 per cent of the total footfall recorded comprised overseas travellers, a 7 per cent increase from the previous year.
Top tourists in 2024
Here are the top five places the tourists were from:
- China
- Taiwan
- Malaysia
- Australia
- The Philippines
According to a Jan. 27 press release, visitorship from China and Taiwan also doubled that of 2023.
The mall has also seen a 5 per cent increase in sales, according to a press release on Jan. 27.
In 2024, 30 new brands opened at Jewel Changi Airport including:
- Charles & Keith flagship store
- Imperial Treasure Super Peking Duck and Yi Dian Xin
- Montale Paris
- Pop Mart
What to expect in 2025
The mall also saw nine new-to-Singapore brands such as Hakka Yu, Naixue and Royal Host.
In 2025, Jewel Changi Airport will have close to 30 new brands, such as Palladium, Salomon, Wilson Sporting Goods, Café Kitsune, Surrey Hills, Bookmagol and Tsuta.
The Nintendo pop-up will also make its return to Jewel.
More information about these new stores and pop-ups will be released at a later date.
