British tennis player Emma Raducanu coming to compete at Singapore Tennis Open
The competition is happening from Jan. 27 to Feb. 2.

British tennis player Emma Raducanu is getting ready to compete in the Singapore Tennis Open at Kallang Tennis Hub.
The Singapore Tennis Open will take place from Jan. 27 to Feb. 2.
Raducanu filmed a video for Singapore Sports Hub's Instagram page to say hi and express her excitement.
"Hi everyone. It's Emma here. I'm very much looking forward to coming to Singapore and playing. I love Singapore so to be able to compete there is really special to me and looking forward to seeing you all there."
The tennis player is known for her victory at the 2021 US Open and for becoming the first female qualifier to win a Grand Slam tennis title.
She was also named BBC's Sports Personality of the Year 2021.
Raducanu's last visit to Singapore was back in 2022, when she was 19 years old.
