Creamier is closing its Gillman Barracks outlet, with its last day of operations being May 1, 2024.

Opened in 2016

The homegrown ice cream brand announced the outlet's closure in a Facebook post on Apr. 29.

Creamier said the little corner at Gillman Barracks has become synonymous with the brand.

The outlet opened in 2016.

"[It] has been a haven for ice cream dreams and warm waffles, a place where laughter swirled with the aroma of freshly roasted coffee and happiness overflowed like the lush greenery surrounding our oasis," said the brand, adding:

"We witnessed first dates bloom over Sea Salt Gula Melaka and Earl Grey Lavender ice creams, families celebrate over stacks of golden waffles piled high with ice creams, and quiet afternoons stolen away with a book and a latte."

Creamier said these memories will remain "etched in every lick, every crunch, every shared table" despite the store's closure.

"The warmth of the community we’ve build over the years is a flame that will keep us warm, reminding us of the joy we’ve created here," it said.

Creamier thanked its customers for being a part of their story and "for filling our days with sweetness and laughter".

Creamier's website lists five other outlets across the island.

They are located in Toa Payoh, Tiong Bahru, Punggol, Katong, and Queenstown.
