Lamborghini catches fire on ECP
The fire involved the engine compartment of the vehicle.

A luxury sports car was seen engulfed in flames on the East Coast Parkway (ECP) expressway on the evening of Jul. 23.

As seen in a video submitted to Mothership and in a photo circulated online, a green Lamborghini Gallardo was on fire and the flames were being put out by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
The back of the vehicle, where the engine is situated, appeared charred.
In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to a fire along ECP towards Changi, before the Still Road South exit at about 5:20pm on Thursday.
The fire, which involved the engine compartment of a car, was extinguished by SCDF using a water jet.
There were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
