Waste collection fees for households will go up from Jul. 1, 2026, the National Environment Agency (NEA) announced on Jun. 12.
The monthly fee for HDB flats and non-landed private housing will increase by S$0.44, from S$10.20 to S$10.64.
Landed homes will see an increase of S$1.50 from S$34 to S$35.50.
NEA said that this is part of the regular review of refuse collection fees to reflect the rising operational and manpower costs faced by public waste collectors.
According to NEA, the last revision was made in 2024.
The household waste collection fee for HDB flats can be offset by U-Save rebates.
The next U-Save rebate disbursements will take place in July and October 2026, as well as in January 2027.
