WhatsappThe Clementi Stadium will close temporarily from Jul. 7, 2026, to 2030 for redevelopment.

This was previously announced by the Minister for National Development, Desmond Lee, in 2024.

"Clementi Stadium has been a key landmark in West Coast for many years," Lee said.

Having opened in 1983, it is more than 40 years old.

However, the time has come to refresh its infrastructure and facilities.

The redeveloped stadium will support training for Singapore's softball and baseball national teams, Lee added.

In an Instagram post on Jun. 1, Lee shared that the redeveloped stadium will feature a new jogging track, softball field, multipurpose field for baseball and football, and sheltered courts.

While the stadium is closed for works, the public can visit Clementi Sports and Recreation Centre, Jurong East Stadium or Bukit Gombak Stadium to continue their activities.
