S'pore woman cuts up aloe vera plant outside Woodlands shop, walks away with chopped parts
The woman's actions were recorded on surveillance footage.

A woman walked up to an aloe vera plant outside a shop at Block 166 Woodlands Street 13 before slicing the plant and walking away with parts of it.
Her actions were recorded in surveillance footage which was posted on Instagram by user "seemralicious_seemi".
Chopped plant
In the video, a woman could be seen walking up to the plant with a bag in her hand.

She then looked around before taking an object out of the bag, which she used to slice parts of the plant and put them in her bag.

Following this, she walked away with parts of the plant, leaving the plant itself visibly damaged.

Incident
Speaking to Mothership, Seemren said the incident occurred on May 5, 2026 at about 8:30am.
It took place outside Seemralicious Beauty Services, where she is the owner.
Noting that she has had this plant for over a year, she said the plant was purchased at around S$30 and based on its current size, she estimates that it would cost around S$100 to S$150.

It was her first time seeing this woman, said Seemren, adding that she is setting a timeline of 24 hours to be compensated for the damage.
Demands apology
According to the video caption, Seemren demanded that the woman apologise before she made a police report.

She also called on members of the public to contact her via Instagram if they recognised the woman in question.
