Female cyclist, 35, dies after accident with tipper truck at Pasir Ris

A 35-year-old female cyclist died after an accident involving a tipper truck at Pasir Ris in the late afternoon on May 23, 2026.

When Mothership was at the scene, there was a police tent on the left lane of a two-lane road, surrounded by police tape.

A tipper truck was observed there as well.

Responding to Mothership's queries, the police said they were alerted at about 4:35pm on May 23 to an accident involving a tipper truck and a bicycle at the junction of Pasir Ris Drive 4 and Pasir Ris Drive 3.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Mothership it was alerted to the accident at about 4:30pm that day.

An SCDF paramedic pronounced a 35-year-old female cyclist dead at the scene.

A 29-year-old male tipper truck driver is assisting with investigations and police investigations are ongoing.
