2 men buying drinks in Kota Kinabalu, M'sia attacked with sickle & axe after argument

Two men were attacked with a sickle and an axe in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, after an argument broke out when they were buying drinks.
The incident occurred on May 17 at about 8pm at a residential area in Kampung Sembulan Lama, New Straits Times reported.
Argument
According to local police, the victims were buying drinks with a group of friends when they had a misunderstanding with a Malaysian man named “Totong”, which led to a heated argument.
“Totong” then allegedly went back home to retrieve a sickle and an axe.
He later returned to the scene and attacked both men with the weapons.
One of the victims suffered injuries on the back of his neck and legs, while the other suffered injuries on his neck and arm.
Both men were conveyed to the hospital for further treatment and were reported to be in a stable condition.
Investigations
Local police had conducted checks at the scene and recorded statements from the victims and witnesses to aid in investigations.
Efforts to track down “Totong” are ongoing.
The case is being investigated for voluntarily causing hurt using dangerous weapons.
