Pedestrian, 9, sent to hospital after accident with car along Choa Chu Kang Ave 1
The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force were alerted to the accident at about 2:15pm on May 18.

A nine-year-old boy was sent to the hospital after a car accident along Choa Chu Kang Avenue 1 on May 18, 2026.
The "sgfollowsall" Instagram page posted a video of the incident which was shared by a follower.

In the video, an individual wearing green shorts was seen sitting in the middle of a two-lane road with no moving vehicles at the time.
Several passers-by surrounded the individual, with two who appeared to be attending to the individual.
The two passers-by then carried the individual away.
A traffic light can be seen toppled on the car.
Hospital, investigations ongoing
Responding to Mothership's queries, the police said they were alerted at about 2:15pm on May 18, 2026, to an accident involving a car and a pedestrian along Choa Chu Kang Ave 1.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Mothership they were alerted at the same time to a road traffic accident along Choa Chu Kang Avenue 1.
SCDF conveyed a nine-year-old male pedestrian conscious to National University Hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.
