Heavy traffic at Woodlands Checkpoint on Vesak Day
The estimated time to cross the Causeway out of Singapore at 6:30pm was between 70 and 120 minutes.

Travellers exiting Singapore experienced heavy traffic congestion at Woodlands Checkpoint on May 31.
According to a Facebook post by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) at 8:07am on May 31, the heavy departure traffic at Woodlands Checkpoint is due to tailback from Malaysia.
"Delays are expected, and travellers are advised to check traffic conditions before embarking on their journey."
As of 8:42pm on the same day, the initial Facebook post appeared to have been taken down.
ICA shared another post that said: "Heavy departure traffic at Woodlands Checkpoint due to tailback from Malaysia has subsided."
Heavy outflow traffic
According to Checkpoint.sg, an app that tracks traffic conditions at Singapore’s land checkpoints, the estimated time to cross the causeway out of Singapore at 6:30pm was between 70 and 120 minutes.

From Johor Bahru (JB) Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine (CIQ) to Singapore, it would take 45 to 65 minutes.

According to charts generated by Checkpoint.sg, these numbers are significantly higher compared to a week prior.
ICA added that the public can follow its Facebook account for the latest traffic updates.
