A couple in Pennsylvania, United States, who were high school sweethearts, have died in an apparent murder-suicide.
Police said the husband is suspected to be responsible less than two years after they tied the knot.
According to New York Post, citing Pennsylvania police, 26-year-old Ryan Hosso shot his wife, 25-year-old Madeline Spatafore, in their home, before retreating into the nearby woods.
He also called his parents and confessed to killing Spatafore, and threatened to take his own life.
Police would later find Hosso's body in the woods.
According to CBS, Spatafore was a physician assistant, who graduated from Duquesne University.
Hosso's LinkedIn said he worked as a mechanical engineer for a Pittsburgh-based engineering firm, but a person in management told CBS that he had not worked there in about three years.
The police have not released a motive for the shootings, and investigations are ongoing.
