A teenager in the UK has been charged with murder over the death of a 27-year-old Thai woman.

Kamonnan Thiamphanit was found in her home at Stanhope Place in London on Apr. 6, 2024, with multiple stab wounds.

According to UK media, she was staying in a S$6.89 million apartment rented from Airbnb at that time.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The teen suspect, now 18, fled overseas.

According to The Guardian, the Metropolitan police said it successfully extradited Enzo Bettamio, 18, on a flight from Dubai to the UK.

Bettamio was formally charged with Thiamphanit’s murder on Saturday.

Thiamphanit, who worked in property management, had been living in the UK for about nine years.
