S’porean man, 44, arrested at Tuas Checkpoint for smuggling vapes in car
More than 20 vaporisers and related components were found.

A 44-year-old Singaporean man was caught at Tuas Checkpoint on Apr. 19 for attempting to smuggle vaporisers and related components into Singapore via a Singapore-registered car.
The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) posted about the incident on Facebook on Apr. 28.
The man was arrested.
Based on information received from ICA’s Integrated Targeting Centre (ITC), officers directed the vehicle for further checks.
More than 20 vaporisers and related components were found concealed within the man’s belongings and the spare tyre compartment of the vehicle.
The case was referred to the Health Sciences Authority for further investigation.
