2 men, both aged 21, & woman, 24, locked themselves in Jurong flat, arrested for alleged robbery
Investigations are ongoing.
Three people were arrested after they allegedly caused voluntary hurt and committed robbery in Jurong East on Apr. 3.
In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) confirmed that the incident occurred at around 10:10pm at Block 262 Jurong East Street 24.
Locked themselves in unit after alleged robbery
Two men, aged 21, and a woman, 24, had locked themselves in a residential unit at the block and refused to open the door.
According to the police, they were believed to have allegedly caused voluntary hurt while committing robbery.
Officers from the Special Operations Command, Crisis Negotiation Unit and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) were deployed to the scene.
The trio were arrested after officers managed to enter the unit at around 11:40pm.
Safety life air pack and rescue team deployed
SCDF told Mothership that one safety life air pack and rescuers from the Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (DART) were deployed as a precautionary measure.
One person was assessed for minor injuries but declined to be sent to the hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.
