Car accident along Airport Boulevard: Man, 82, dies, 3 others taken to hospital
The driver and two other female passengers were also conveyed to the hospital.
An 82-year-old male passenger died following a car accident along Airport Boulevard on Apr. 3.
He was unconscious when he was conveyed to the hospital, where he subsequently passed away.
A 60-year-old male driver and two female passengers, aged 44 and 74, were conscious when taken to hospital.
Car skidded towards slip road
In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the accident at about 11:25pm on Apr. 3, 2026.
The incident involved a car that was believed to have self-skidded along Airport Boulevard towards the Terminal 1 slip road leading to Terminal 2, according to the police.
Four people were conveyed to Changi General Hospital (CGH) in total.
Photos from the scene, according to The Straits Times, showed a black multi-purpose vehicle bearing the livery of limousine service provider LTS, with visible damages, including a caved-in bonnet and a cracked windscreen.
The driver is currently assisting with ongoing police investigations.
