Car driver, 31, arrested after fatal accident with motorcyclist, 56, at Yishun, vape seized from driver
One vaporiser and one pod were seized.
A man, 31, was arrested in Yishun after a fatal accident with a male motorcyclist, 56, in the early hours of Mar. 26.
In response to Mothership's queries, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Yishun Avenue 7 and Sembawang Road at about 2:20am.
The police and SCDF said that both men were conveyed conscious to Khoo Teck Puat hospital by the SCDF, but the motorcyclist subsequently passed away.
A video of the scene was posted to the Facebook page, Roads.sg, showing a motorcycle lying on its side and a car with a damaged bonnet and front bumper.

Vaporiser and pod seized
The 31-year-old male car driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing grievous hurt, and driving while under the influence of drugs.
One vaporiser and one pod were seized.
The vaporiser-related offence has been referred to the Health Sciences Authority (HSA).
In response to Mothership's queries, a HSA spokesperson said that they "detected etomidate in the vaporiser pod that was seized in connection with the accident".
Investigations are ongoing.
