Jeanette Aw re-opens pastry shop in Geylang 3 months after Hamilton Road outlet closure

Singaporean actress Jeanette Aw, 46, has reopened her patisserie, Once Upon A Time, in Geylang, three months after it closed at its Hamilton Road location.

The actress teased the reopening on the pastry shop's Instagram page with a Mar. 7 post featuring an image of the cafe's logo along with the caption, "Coming back soon!"

On Mar. 12, a short clip was uploaded, giving a preview of the interior of the patisserie's new home.

That same day, pre-ordering for an Orange Sherbet was announced.

On Mar. 21, a video was posted showing how to get to the pastry shop's new location, which features a back alley entrance along Lorong 32 Geylang.

The exact address of Aw's patisserie is 14 Lorong 32 Geylang.

According to its website, it is open for self-pickup orders only.

Aw launched Once Upon A Time in May 2021, but closed the Hamilton Road eatery in December 2025 due to "escalating rental costs".

Aw also said back in November 2025 that the closure was not the end of the patisserie as it would be moving to a new location, with renovations already underway then.

The actress graduated from culinary school, Le Cordon Bleu, in 2019.
