DJ Jade Rasif allegedly 'touched inappropriately' at Marquee during Central Cee event, had alcohol thrown at her
She took to social media to find out more information, but was met with threats of legal action.
What was supposed to be a fun night at a Marquee Nightclub event on Mar. 18 turned into an unpleasant experience for Singaporean DJ Jade Rasif after she got into an altercation with another group of partygoers, during which she was allegedly touched inappropriately and had a cup of alcohol thrown at her.
Rejected advances, felt someone climbing up beside her
In a TikTok video and on Threads, Jade briefly detailed what happened and the drama that unfolded after the encounter.
Jade said she was attending British rapper Central Cee's after-party at Marquee, which took place on Mar. 18.
She was at her friend's table, next to the DJ console.
Behind her was another group of revellers.
At certain points during the night, Jade said that one of the guys from the group behind tried to invite her over to their table by grabbing her arm, advances which Jade said she rejected.
"A little while later, I feel scuffling, shuffling. Someone's trying to scramble up onto... the raised platform," Jade recounted, adding that she told the girl who was climbing up to stop and warned her that it was dangerous.
Jade wrote on Threads that she was standing on her friend's sofa when the girl attempted to climb up.
Touched inappropriately, cup thrown at her
She eventually turned her attention back to Central Cee's performance, which was when she felt she was being "touched inappropriately."
On Threads, the DJ shared that she was touched on her "intimate areas" "over the next three to five minutes".
Jade said the experience felt "extremely humiliating and 100 per cent disrespectful".
She also had a cup thrown at her, causing her back to be "wet with alcohol".
Jade then decided to turn around and take a video of the crowd behind her.
In the video seen by Mothership, two girls in the crowd could be seen making a rude gesture towards Jade.
Explaining that she wanted to avoid a confrontation, the DJ said she walked away.
"I was so afraid of being pushed at that moment I got off as quickly as I can. Didn’t engage."

Threatened with legal action for online posts
She lodged a police report the next day and posted about the experience online, along with screenshots of the video she took, to appeal for more information.
According to Jade, the woman who was seen in the video reached out, but denied any involvement, stating that it wasn't her who touched or threw drinks at the DJ.
The woman also asked for Jade's posts to be taken down.
Jade also received Instagram messages from individuals who appeared to be related to the woman, with some threatening legal action, and accusing her of using the incident to garner attention.
Speaking to Mothership, the DJ said that there has been "no direct communication" between her and the parties involved.
She chose not to reply to the messages she received.

"Apology can go long way"
According to Jade, posts have been made about her on expat forums, which added "insult to injury".
"An apology can go a long way. Instead, I received denial and legal threats," she told Mothership.
She shared that she intends to see the matter through the proper legal process so that "facts can be established".
She also declined to share further details as the matter is under investigation.
Responding to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force confirmed that a report was lodged and said that investigations are ongoing.
"I would like to acknowledge the efficiency of the police and Marquee security team," Jade remarked.
In her TikTok video, she shared that she has since taken down her Instagram stories about the incident.
On Threads, Jade noted that she was posting "for information only" and urged followers not to speculate or "target anyone".
