PAB rider collides into another at Yishun traffic junction, both somehow blame car behind them
???
A driver found himself in an awkward situation after two Power-Assisted Bicycle (PAB) riders had a minor collision at a traffic junction and seemingly blamed him for it.
The incident took place at around 7:40pm on Mar. 19, according to a video posted on Facebook.
Driver pressed the horn after e-bike suddenly cuts in front
In the dashcam footage, the driver was seen approaching a junction where the traffic light was red.
A PAB rider suddenly cut into his lane, squeezing into a tight space in front of the car and prompting the driver to sound his horn.

Shortly after, a second PAB rider approached from behind and collided into the first rider, causing his e-bike to wobble and nearly tip over.
The second rider then helped the first regain his balance. Both riders were not wearing safety helmets.

After the brief mishap, the two riders were seen talking to each other before turning to look at the car behind them.
In a baffling turn of events, they then began gesturing towards the driver, apparently blaming him for the collision, even though the car had not made any contact with either of them, according to the footage.
At one point, the first rider even points his middle finger at the driver.

The rider also took a photo of the car with his phone.
The situation did not seem to escalate further, and both riders rode off after the light turned green.
One comment on Facebook summed up the incredulity of the situation pretty well.
Compulsory for PAB riders to wear helmets
According to the Land Transport Authority (LTA), PAB riders are required to wear helmets on roads at all times. PABs are allowed on roads and cycling paths, but not on footpaths.
Riders are also encouraged to wear bright coloured, fluorescent or reflective clothing to increase visibility.
