PAB catches fire along Balestier Road, 1 person conveyed to hospital
The cause of fire is under investigation.

One person was conveyed to the hospital after a power-assisted bicycle (PAB) caught fire along Balestier Road at about 12:15am on Mar. 22.
In a photo shared on Facebook, the bicycle could be seen in flames as it lay toppled over near the side of the road.
A person could be seen standing on the pedestrian walkway, adjacent to the burning PAB.
The caption of the post stated: "E bike explode in front of me."
Responding to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that it was alerted to the fire involving a PAB along Balestier Road.
The fire was extinguished by SCDF using a hosereel.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, SCDF added.
