Homegrown Korean fried chicken chain Jinjja Chicken officially shuttered its outlet at Jewel Changi Airport on Feb. 19.

The restaurant chain announced the closure in an Instagram post on Thursday, thanking customers for their support over the years.

"To everyone who queued, craved, celebrated, and made memories with us over the last 6 years, thank you," the caption read. "You didn’t just dine here, you built this space with us."

Fans in the eastern part of Singapore can still satisfy their cravings at the chain’s outlet at Our Tampines Hub, which the brand noted features an expanded menu.

New outlet opening in March 2026

While the Jewel closure marks the end of one chapter, it also signals a new beginning.

The chain teased the launch of another outlet slated to open in March 2026, inviting members of the public to guess its location in the comments.

The chain also hinted that the new location begins with the letter 'B'.
