Car hits another while trying to parallel park at Lorong Kilat, drives away after driver gets out to inspect damage

A hit-and-run incident occurred recently when one car was attempting to parallel park.

The incident occurred at around 9:03am on Jan. 9, 2026 at Lorong Kilat, according to a post on Facebook page SG Road Vigilante.

Hit during parallel park

According to the dashcam footage of the incident, a Mitsubishi car was attempting to parallel park when it apparently hit the stationary Toyota in front of it.

The driver of the Toyota got out of the vehicle and appeared to confront the Mitsubishi's driver about the incident, gesturing towards them.

However, the Mitsubishi soon drove away as the Toyota's driver was checking for damage done to his car, which appeared to be a graze on the car's rear.

Realising the Mitsubishi was gone, the Toyota's driver raised his arm and expressed his frustration upon seeing the car drive away.

Following the incident, the dashcam car drove in the same direction as the Mitsubishi and soon caught up to it at a traffic junction.

It is uncertain if the incident with the Toyota was resolved.
