A motorcyclist was thrown several metres into the air and onto the road after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car at the junction of Bukit Panjang Road and Bukit Panjang Ring Road on Sunday, Jan. 11.
The Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) were alerted to the road traffic accident at around 4:20am.

Motorcyclist flung into the air
A video circulated online showed a motorcyclist travelling towards the junction.
The motorcyclist apparently did not have the right of way when the two-wheeler and the car collided.
The car was turning right at the time.
The traffic light appeared to be in the car's favour.
Upon making impact, the motorcyclist was flung several metres into the air before landing on the road.
Police investigations are ongoing.
