Tower Transit bus captain stops bus at green light just to point both middle fingers at driver, gets suspended

A Tower Transit bus captain has been suspended after he was caught stopping his bus in the middle of traffic and pointing both his middle fingers at another motorist.
The incident, first reported by Stomp, occurred at 5:11 pm on Dec. 9 along Anson Road.
Attempted to merge into the bus lane
According to a Stomp contributor, he had been turning left, but there were two cars ahead of him, resulting in a partial blocking of the second lane .
He reckoned the bus driver was probably upset that a car had blocked his way temporarily.

The contributor said the bus driver then sounded his horn at him.
In response, he pointed his middle finger at the bus driver, which he admitted was inappropriate and wrong on his part.
The bus driver subsequently stopped the bus, opened the door and returned the gesture by raising both middle fingers at the contributor.
The entire incident was caught on the contributor's dashcam.
Bus captain has been suspended
According to Shin Min Daily News, a Tower Transit spokesperson confirmed the company was aware of the incident and described the bus captain’s behaviour as unacceptable and below the expected standards of professionalism, safety and courtesy.
The spokesperson added that the driver has been suspended, stressing that the company takes the matter seriously and remains committed to ensuring the safety of all road users.
