Cat rescued while wandering along KL highway, M'sians looking for owner

A cat was recently spotted wandering along the LKSA Highway in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In a Dec. 8 Facebook post, a user who goes by Bunga Kertas shared footage of the lost feline.

"Looking for the owner!" the post was captioned. It was shared in the Facebook group Missing Pets S.O.S. Malaysia.

Dashcam footage showed the cat ambling along the side of the road, against the onslaught of traffic.

After the dashcam vehicle slowed to a stop, a woman could be seen hurrying from her vehicle to pick up the cat.

Subsequent photos showed the rescued cat looking rather scruffy from its adventure but otherwise no worse for the wear.

In the comments section, users praised the cat's rescuers for taking the lost feline in.

"Luckily the cat is [in] safe hands now," one remarked.

Another said: "Hope [it] reunites with the owner soon."
