Chinatown hotel murder: Indonesian man, 41, taken back to crime scene where he allegedly killed his wife, 38

His head was lowered and he kept his eyes on the ground.

An Indonesian man, 41-year-old Salehuddin, allegedly murdered his wife, 38-year-old Nurdia Rahmah Rery in their hotel room at Capri by Fraser, China Square on Oct. 24.

That Friday, Salehuddin, turned himself in at Bukit Merah East Neighbourhood Police Centre and informed officers that he had killed his wife.

Police later found Nurdia motionless inside the hotel room and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Salehuddin was subsequently charged with murder in court on Oct. 25.

He was brought back to the scene of the crime on Dec. 3.

The police van transporting Salehuddin arrived at the hotel's carpark at around 9:15am.

Salehuddin stepped out of the van with his head lowered and his eyes on the ground.

He was dressed in a red polo T-shirt and black bottoms, and his hands and feet were cuffed.

He was then brought up to the hotel room where the crime took place, escorted by two police officers on each side.

Salehuddin eventually came down at around 11:15am and was escorted from the crime scene in the same van.
