Woman, 23, found dead at foot of Hougang Ave 8 HDB block

A woman, 23, has died after falling from a Hougang HDB flat on Nov. 13, 2025.

A photo of the scene was posted on a Facebook group for domestic workers.

The post claimed that the woman was allegedly a domestic worker from Myanmar.

Responding to queries from Mothership, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) stated that they were alerted at 11:30am to a case of fall from height at 649 Hougang Avenue 8.

The woman was found lying motionless at the foot of the block and was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic from the Singapore Civil Defence Force.

Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play.

Police investigations are ongoing.
