Driver, 73, taken to hospital after 2-taxi accident in Hougang, other driver, 53, assisting with investigations
Police investigations are ongoing.
A 73-year-old taxi driver was taken to hospital after two taxis got into an accident along Upper Serangoon Road in the wee hours of the morning on Nov. 21.

Police told Mothership that on Nov. 21, they were alerted to an accident involving two taxis along Upper Serangoon Road towards Sengkang East Drive.
A 73-year-old male taxi driver was conveyed conscious to the hospital, police said.
A 53-year-old male taxi driver is assisting with investigations.
Police investigations are ongoing.
The aftermath
A video of the aftermath shared to social media showed that a blue ComfortDelGro taxi and a red Transcab taxi had stopped along the road.
A licence plate had fallen off onto the road from the collision.
The red taxi ended up on the opposite side of the road divider.
The accident appeared to have taken place opposite a petrol kiosk in Hougang.
A man in a black shirt was seen standing beside the red taxi.
The elderly driver of the red taxi could be seen grimacing in his seat.
The person taking the video could be seen advising the driver not to move as "the ambulance is coming".
ComfortDelGro's statement
In response to Mothership's queries, a ComfortDelGro spokesperson said,
"We are aware of the accident that occurred early this morning when another vehicle collided into our taxi.
Fortunately, both the passenger and cabby were not injured and we are assisting the authorities in their investigation.”
