GrabRewards is now GrabCoins. Here’s how you can earn & save on Grab.

If you’re a regular Grab user, you might have noticed something new on your app — GrabCoins.

So what exactly are they?

In short, GrabRewards has been refreshed into GrabCoins, introducing a simpler, and more instant way to earn and save from your everyday rides, orders, and payments with Grab.

What’s GrabCoins?

Essentially, GrabCoins is your new reward currency on Grab. According to Grab, it is designed to make “earning and saving from everyday actions on Grab simpler and easier”.

You can earn GrabCoins on selected Grab services and payments, and use as little as 50 GrabCoins (worth S$0.10) to instantly offset your next GrabFood or GrabMart order - and soon, Grab rides.

Current users also don’t have to worry about losing their GrabRewards points, as all existing GrabRewards points will be converted to GrabCoins at equal value.

This means that if you had 2,000 GrabRewards points, the points will be converted to 2,000 GrabCoins.

You can now also see your GrabCoins in action by viewing how many GrabCoins you’ll earn with each order, and how much you can instantly offset using them.

Plus, redemptions are now simpler — instead of having to accumulate points to redeem discounts, just 50 GrabCoins (equivalent of S$0.10) can now go toward your next GrabFood or GrabMart order.

Do note that from Jan. 1, 2026, each GrabCoin will have a validity of six months from the month it’s earned.

For example, GrabCoins earned within January 2026 will expire on Jul. 31, 2026.

New ways to earn GrabCoins

As part of the GrabCoins launch, Grab is introducing several new ways for users to earn GrabCoins across rides and meals.

Grab rides

Grab users can earn five per cent back in GrabCoins when they book the following rides on weekdays:

• Rides booked via Family Account
• GrabPet rides
• GrabCar Premium rides
• Scheduled rides with Advance Booking.

GrabFood and Dine Out

Get five per cent back in GrabCoins on GrabFood when:

• You host a GrabFood Group Order on weekdays
• You order from Grab Signatures merchants on weekdays

You can also get 1,000 GrabCoins (≈S$2) when you chope a table & dine with Grab Dine Out, capped at two completed bookings per day, for a limited time only.

Spending on partner merchants

Earn 0.5 per cent back in GrabCoins when using PayLater at partner merchants, including popular stores such as TikTok Shop, ZALORA and JD Sports.

Or you can earn 0.3 per cent back in GrabCoins when spending with GrabPay, plus a chance to win 25,000 GrabCoins.

Spending with GXS Bank

Get 0.6 per cent back in GrabCoins when you spend with GXS Savings Account on local Grab Services.

Users can also get two per cent back in GrabCoins when they spend with the GXS Debit Card on overseas Grab services.
