M'sia civil servant allegedly films woman's buttocks at market, nabbed by female passers-by
The man also had other pornographic videos and images on his phone unrelated to the case.
A 41-year-old Malaysian civil servant was arrested after he was caught allegedly filming a woman at a day market in Pahang, Malaysia without her consent.
The woman raised the alarm, and he was detained by three female members of the public until the authorities arrived.
Police later found lewd photographs and videos stored on his mobile phone.
The confrontation
On Nov. 9, a 33-year-old woman noticed a man secretly filming her, according to Free Malaysia Today.
With the help of passers-by, she confronted him and stopped him from leaving the scene until the authorities arrived.

In footage of the incident posted online, three women could be seen physically restraining the man.
One had her arm locked around his neck from behind, another was gripping the collar of his shirt, while a third held on to his phone.
They could be heard loudly telling passers-by that he had been recording women without their permission, and pressing him on how many times he had done this before.
The man in the video was heard repeatedly apologising and insisting that he had not done anything.
A caption in the video said that the man had been filming women's buttocks.
He was subsequently arrested upon the police's arrival, reported the New Straits Times.
Lewd materials
Officers seized the man’s phone at the scene.
An inspection revealed a secretly-recorded video of the victim, as well as other explicit images and recordings unrelated to the incident.
These included pornographic content, and lewd photos and videos.
Investigations are ongoing.
If convicted of insulting a person's modesty, he may be fined, jailed, or both.
