Korea tour guide lectures Taiwanese tourists for not buying enough stuff on 5D4N trip, says they embarrassed her

A Taiwanese tour group was on the receiving end of a heated lecture by their tour guide in Korea during a five-day, four-night trip to Jeju.

The tour costs around S$1,010 per person.

They made a shopping stop on the fourth day of their trip, but after trying out the products, they decided they didn't like any of them that much and headed back to the tour bus.

The guide, however, reportedly told them to at least buy some face masks.

When they finally made their way back to the bus, the tour guide apparently told them that they had embarrassed her by not buying enough products.

She reasoned that the products, such as face masks, weren't that expensive, and that they would have bought these products at some point from another shop as well.

According to HK01, the tour group actually bought over S$1,400 in products, but even that was considered by the tour guide to be insufficient.

The tour group has apologised for the tour group's experience.
