Police appealing for next-of-kin of woman, 47, found dead with father in Sengkang flat

A father and daughter pair were found dead in their Sengkang Housing Development Board (HDB) flat on Oct. 6.

Their bodies were discovered at around 1pm at a unit on the eighth floor of Block 324D Sengkang East Way.

This was after a resident in the unit directly below noticed a foul smell and liquid leaking from her ceiling.

Police confirmed that a man and a 47-year-old woman were found lying motionless in the unit and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Appeal

On Oct. 7, police released an appeal for the next-of-kin of a 47-year-old woman named Xu Na.

Xu, they said, was a former resident at Block 324D Sengkang East Way, and had passed away on Oct. 6.

Mothership understands this is the same woman who was found dead in the flat with her father.
