Body of man, 31, found in suitcase in Penang, M'sia: 2 men & 2 women, aged 24-32, arrested
They will be remanded for 7 days.
The police in Penang, Malaysia have arrested two men and two women, aged 24 to 32, to facilitate investigations into a murder case involving a body found stuffed in a suitcase, Bernama reported.
The grisly find was made near Ampang Jajar Flats in Permatang Pauh on Oct. 9.
The body was identified as belonging to a man, Lee Boon Han, 31, an insurance agent who was reported missing by his family on Oct. 8.
Penang police said the four individuals were arrested separately at several locations in the state and in Perak on Oct. 21.
They will be remanded for seven days.
More information will be released in a media conference on Oct. 23, the police added.
The deceased was confirmed to have died of suffocation.
The motive is still unclear.
