Man, 23, with special needs found 1 day after going missing in Bukit Panjang, spotted by service 972 bus captain

The bus captain recognised the man as the person in the missing person notice.

A 23-year-old man with special needs, who was reported missing in Singapore on Oct. 21, was found on Oct. 22, 8world reported.

He was last seen in the Bukit Panjang area on Tuesday at around 10:44am dressed in a grey top and shorts, and carrying a white backpack.

Spotted by bus driver

He was spotted in the Keat Hong area on Wednesday morning at around 9am by a bus driver, who recognised the man as the person in the missing person notice, it was reported.

The man was taking the bus that was headed towards Bukit Panjang bus interchange.

The bus driver notified the relevant authorities.

The man's family rushed to the interchange upon hearing the news.

The man is currently safe and well.

His family had appealed for information online about a missing person last seen in the northwest of Singapore and urged the public to call them or report any sightings to the police.

The appeal was accompanied by surveillance footage of the man last seen in the Bukit Panjang area.
