Imagine trading your regular two-meat, one-vegetable mixed rice lunch for a delicious meal at Harry’s just once in the next two months, and then ending up on a business class flight bound for a 5D4N wellness retreat in paradise.

It doesn’t have to stay a dream.

Here are some photos to help you visualise this paradise.

This is Saol Wellness Retreat in Koh Samui, Thailand, housed in the mountain-top sanctuary of Mantra Samui Resort.

Saol’s retreats are designed to help guests relieve stress, recover from burnout and return home feeling rejuvenated.

They are tailored to the needs of each guest, whether they are a yearning for creative experiences or just a chance to slow things down.

You could be flying business class to immerse yourself in the retreat with your best friend or significant other, simply by enjoying a nice meal at Harry’s.

Sounds good? Here’s how this could become real.

Enjoy exclusive members discounts

First, download the Harry’s Rewards app on your phone and sign up as a Harry’s Rewards member for free.

Refer your friends and you’ll receive another S$5 voucher.

Enjoy lunch specials while you’re at it

Next, grab some friends, head down to a Harry’s outlet and indulge, just like what my colleague and I did.

We visited Harry’s Clarke Quay outlet on a rainy Thursday afternoon, swapping the usual office canteen lunch for something a little fancier.

You do not have to go at lunchtime to be eligible for the wellness trip raffle, but there’s a weekday lunch promotion going on, so we figured why not enjoy our Harry's visit to the fullest.

There are eight lunch specials to choose from, from classics like fish and chips to fancier options like the unagi-glazed chicken burger.

While they all looked mouth-watering, there was one particular dish from the newly-launched lunch specials that we both really wanted to try.

That was the seafood spaghetti with lemongrass broth, which made my stomach grumble just from its menu photo alone.

What we ate

In the end, we got three mains and a side to share between the both of us — laksa popcorn chicken, seafood spaghetti with lemongrass broth, grilled barramundi and grilled ribeye steak with garlic butter rice.

Laksa popcorn chicken

To warm up our taste buds, we had the laksa popcorn chicken.

It’s one of the menu items that you’ll get to enjoy a discount on as a Harry’s Rewards member.

Members will only have to pay S$10, while its usual price is S$13.

Taste-wise, I didn’t have any expectations at the start.

Popcorn chicken is a fairly simple and unexciting side dish, but Harry’s laksa popcorn chicken impressed from the first bite.

The popcorn chicken was fried well, with a good balance of meat and batter.

The star of the show was the tangy and sweet laksa sauce that had a mild spiciness to it.

I’m usually sceptical of fusion dishes, but this one worked really well.

The laksa sauce is also served as a dip on the side, in case you can’t get enough of it.

Grilled Ribeye Steak with Garlic Butter Rice

For the mains, I started with the garlic ribeye steak with garlic butter rice, which came topped with a runny sous vide egg.

On its own, the rice had a subtle garlic butter aroma.

There were also some leafy greens buried under the mountain of rice to balance out the meal.

The ribeye steak itself was sweet and cooked well, with the fat adding a little savoriness to the meat.

While each component of the dish held its own, it’s when I had them together with the bullet pepper sauce that the magic really happened.

The sauce was fiery and had a strong umami flavour.

This really connected the subtle aroma of the rice with the sweet char of the steak.

With the sauce, the dish was complete.

This one’s a go-to for those looking for a tasty, protein-filled meal.

Grilled Barramundi

Next, we tried the grilled barramundi.

The pan-seared fish was served atop a serving of mashed potato, a side of heirloom carrot and broccoli, and lemon chilli salsa.

The fish itself was fresh and sweet, with the lightly-charred skin adding a savory dimension.

The mashed potato was light and creamy and went well with the fish.

Overall, if you’re looking for a light and clean lunch, consider the grilled barramundi.

For those looking for a little more punch, the lemon chilli salsa will add more depth to the flavour.

Seafood Spaghetti with Lemongrass Broth

Out of all the dishes we tried, this was my favourite.

Think of this as a sort of tom yum and aglio olio crossover, minus the overwhelming spiciness and sourness of tom yum soup.

Like I said, I’m not a fan of fusion dishes, but the lemongrass broth was similarly impressive in tying together flavours from the East and West without trying to do too much.

The lemongrass broth was well infused with sweet seafood flavours.

The prawn was firm to the bite, hinting at its freshness.

Overall, the seafood spaghetti was complex in flavour yet simple to eat, which made it so enjoyable.

Satisfied

All in all, it was a satisfying meal that pleasantly broke our lunch routine.

I’d definitely recommend heading down to enjoy the lunch specials if you’re craving something to spice up your week.

Claiming the S$5 sign up voucher was also simple and seamless. All I had to do was present the in-app voucher to the wait staff during payment.
