Bitcoin hit a new all-time high of S$161,171 (US$125,544) on Oct. 5, 2025 (Singapore time).
Its previous peak was in August 2025.
October has been dubbed "Uptober", which has historically been the strongest month for BTC.
The world's largest crypto-asset by market capitalisation climbed as much as 2.2 per cent over the past 24 hours to hit its peak on Sunday morning in Asia.
The move comes amid strong ETF accumulation led by BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust.
Bitcoin's 2025 run
Bitcoin has risen nearly 100 per cent in the past year.
This comes on the back of strong institutional interest fuelled by U.S. president Donald Trump's bid for the White House.
BTC rose 961 per cent in the past five years.
