S'porean athlete Yip Pin Xiu, 33 & pilot Bruce Boo, 34, get married

Singaporean Paralympian Yip Pin Xiu, 33, and pilot Bruce Boo, 34, got married at the Jurong Lake Gardens Guesthouse on Oct. 4.

The couple met on a dating app in 2023.
Yip had announced her engagement to Boo on Instagram in December 2024.
Boo proposed earlier that month.
Just eight days ago, Yip won the women’s 50m backstroke S2 event at the World Para Swimming Championships at the OCBC Aquatic Centre for her eighth world title.
She has seven Paralympic golds and one silver.
Her bridesmaid was former Paralympic swimmer Theresa Goh.
