US fast food chain Chipotle to open 1st S'pore restaurant in 2026

American multinational chain Chipotle Mexican Grill, also known as Chipotle, will open its first Singapore restaurant in 2026.

Chipotle is a chain of fast-casual restaurants that specialises in customisable burritos, burrito bowls and tacos.

PR Newswire reported that Chipotle is partnering with South Korea-based food company SPC Group for the chain's Asia expansion.

SPC Group's chains in Singapore include Paris Baguette and American burger chain Shake Shack.

Following other big chains

The chain is among other global chains that will be opening restaurants in Singapore.

These include fast food chains like American Chick-fil-A and South Korean Lotteria. 

Global food chain

Chipotle currently operates over 3,800 restaurants worldwide, including France, Germany and Kuwait. 

It was founded in the U.S. in 1993.
