Man caught on CCTV pooping behind house in Sennett Estate, owner discovers remnants 2 days later

A resident from Sennett Estate was cleaning the back alley behind his house when he noticed faeces on the ground near his potted plants.

Thinking it was much too big to be animal droppings, the resident decided to check his CCTV footage and was left stumped by what he saw.

A man had defecated near his plants two days ago.

Pooped in someone's backyard

According to the footage, a man holding an umbrella strolled into the alley at 4:21am on Aug. 30.

After scoping out the area, the man dropped his pants, squatted by the plant, and proceeded to do his business.

Mid-poop, he looked around, reached for what appeared to be a leaf, and used it to wipe his bum.

The entire incident took about a minute.

Discovered poop 2 days after

The resident, Eric, said he and his family only discovered the nasty surprise two days later.

"We were cleaning the backyard near the plants and discovered there is sh*t, but it didn't look like an animal sh*t — too big to be a cat or dog sh*t, hence we decided to playback the CCTV," he said.

The revelation was unpleasant, but they decided not to file a police report.

Instead, they wanted to raise awareness and prevent this sort of drive-by dumping from happening again.

The worse part of the ordeal for Eric was that he had to clear the faeces himself and clean the whole backyard afterwards.
