A resident who witnessed part of the scene told The Straits Times (ST) he heard "screams and a commotion" at around 7am on Sep. 24.
He went to the sixth floor to investigate, and saw a woman lying unconscious near the lift.
"She had wounds all over her body and was completely drenched in blood," said the resident, who gave his name as Koh.
A man, who appeared to be her husband, was trying to fight off their knife-wielding assailant.
Koh said he saw the man yelling for someone to help his wife, and subsequently get stabbed as well.
