If you’re looking for some fun Mid-Autumn festivities for the family, this might just be it.

From Oct. 4 to 5, the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) and Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) are bringing back the Mid-Autumn Family FUN (MAFF) for you.

This year’s MAFF will feature its biggest lineup yet, with a total of 27 free and ticketed programmes spread across SCCC and the Singapore Conference Hall.

If you’re a Singaporean like me, here’s a word that made my heart flutter: free.

That’s right, here are some activities you can enjoy for free at MAFF:

Moongazing with Monday Bruce

Hop on over to SCCC’s roof garden to catch five giant illuminated inflatables of Monday Bruce in various poses.

These rabbits from the popular blind box series feature a stressed-out white collar worker rabbit who doesn’t like to go to work, which are now fittingly situated in the CBD.

And if you are a fan of the rabbit, here's even better news: The art installation will actually be up from Sep. 11 to Nov. 30, daily from 10am to 10pm so you have plenty of time to pop by.

When night falls on Oct. 4 and 5, you can not only catch performances, but also get up close with the moon and stars thanks to SCCC’s partnership with the NUS Astronomical Society.

Play It Chill

Catch free drum performances, interactive storytelling, crosstalk, poetry recitals, lantern riddles and many other hands-on activities at the SCCC concourse.

It’s likely the first thing you will see when you first arrive at SCCC so it’s hard to miss!

Rabbit’s Brew House

Head over to the SCCC Multi-Purpose Hall afterwards to enjoy more free activities such as mooncake and tea sampling, cultural dance performances, hanfu try-ons, and Chinese knot-tying activities.
